On Monday morning, early voting kicked-off in Troup County.
Citizens can participate in early voting by visiting the Troup County Board of Elections and Registration Office at 100 Ridley Avenue between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Citizens who are registered to vote from any of the three cities in the county may vote, though you must live inside city limits to vote in a city election though all county citizens can vote on the SPLOST.
In LaGrange, incumbent Jim Thornton and Jimmy McCamey are running in the mayoral race.
